Dear Sirs, I am happy to respond to your request to write my story about my experience with Monachus Yachts!
In the summer of 2009, I was relaxing with my wife and friends on the terrace of our summer house. Not far from the shore, we saw a beautiful beige yacht sailing gracefully through the waves of the afternoon maestral. My wife and I had owned an Apreamare 11-meter for several years at that point, and we were considering buying a yacht of 13 to 14 meters. Our first requirement was that it had a Mediterranean soul, and that was exactly what we saw at that moment. We inquired and found out what kind of boat it was. We ordered the construction of the Monachus 43 Pharos model in January 2010. During the construction, the Monachus shipyard fulfilled every request we had regarding the personalization of our new boat, and it was delivered at the end of June with only about 10 days delay from the agreed deadline. We enjoyed every moment spent on our new boat, and we arranged and entrusted the service to the Monachus service team.
After 7 years, our family and the company we enjoy sailing with grew, so it was time to consider a larger boat. I called Hari Tabak to take care of selling my boat and to see what he could offer me as the next larger boat. Hari showed me a render of the Monachus 21-meter, for which only basic plans existed at that time. That was it; I asked for it to be in a 4-cabin version with bathrooms and asked how long the construction would take.
My Pharos 43 found a buyer in Italy – Rimini – after only a few months, and I then purchased a used Fairline 18-meter, the sale of which, after 4 years, was again handled by Hari and the Monachus team.
My new boat is a Monachus 70 Fly. My family, myself, and our friends have been enjoying our boat for 3 years now, and the Monachus Yachts team takes care of everything else. And in conclusion, I want to thank them for that.
