Behind Monachus Yachts
Monachus takes its name from the Mediterranean monk seal,
locally known as “the man of the sea”.
From the very beginning, we were not driven by volume or trends, but by a simple idea:

to build motor yachts that are honest, balanced and meant to be used, not just admired at the dock.
Calm behaviour at sea comes from balance.
Our focus has always been on hydrodynamics, low silhouette, correct ergonomics and calm behaviour at sea. These things don’t come from spreadsheets — they come from decades spent cruising, navigating and living on boats.
We design and build Monachus yachts in our boatyard near Split, on the Adriatic, using proven construction methods and contemporary materials. A modular approach allows us to keep the process semi-custom, so that every yacht reflects its owner, not a catalogue.
